I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a graduate of the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with an MA in Professional Counseling and Marriage and Family Therapy. I earned my BS degree in Psychology from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Over the past 18 years, I have worked to meet the mental health needs of clients across a variety of populations and settings including community mental health, meeting the needs of the chronically and persistently mentally ill, in private practice working with a variety of presenting issues including working with children and families, and in teen residential treatment helping teens and their families forge a new path toward recovery from addictions and other life-interfering problems. I have also volunteered my time counseling and facilitating groups at local church ministries. I am dedicated to providing compassionate, quality care that is individually tailored to meet my clients’ needs.
