S.P.A.C.E Group for Parents of Anxious Children
Is your child stuck in a cycle of anxiety or worry?
You can help — without your child ever attending a session.
Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) is an evidence-based, research-supported program developed at the Yale Child Study Center. In a small group of fellow parents, you'll learn practical tools to reduce your child's anxiety — without your child needing to attend, participate, or even be willing to engage in therapy.
This group may be a good fit if…
• Your child struggles with anxiety, worry, panic, separation fears, social anxiety, or OCD-related behaviors
• Mealtime, bedtime, school mornings, or family routines are shaped around avoiding your child's distress
• Your child refuses therapy, won't engage, or has tried treatment before without lasting change
• You're doing everything you can think of to help — and want tools that actually work
What you'll get
• 8 weekly 90-minute sessions with a small group of parents facing similar challenges
• Concrete, step-by-step tools for responding to your child's anxiety differently
• Individualized guidance for your family's specific situation, built into the group process
• A supportive community of parents who understand what you're navigating
