Founding 417 Psych

Dr. Rachael Herrington Roldan's journey to founding 417 Psych is a testament to her dedication to providing specialized, evidence-based mental health care. After earning her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Texas A&M University in 2008, she completed both her pre-doctoral internship and postdoctoral fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine, where she gained extensive experience treating anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders.

In 2011, Dr. Roldan further honed her expertise by attending the Behavior Therapy Training Institute (BTTI) at UCLA, focusing on cognitive-behavioral therapy for OCD and related disorders.

Recognizing a need for specialized OCD treatment in her community, she established 417 Psych in Springfield, Missouri. Her practice offers both in-person and telehealth services, utilizing a range of evidence-based therapies, including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), Meta-Cognitive Therapy (MCT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Dr. Roldan's commitment to accessibility is evident in her participation in PsyPACT, allowing her to provide telehealth services to clients in over 40 states. She also offers specialized group therapy sessions, such as the Skills Training Group for OCD, which focuses on helping individuals manage intrusive thoughts and compulsive behaviors through Inference-Based CBT.

Through 417 Psych, Dr. Roldan continues to impact the mental health landscape by offering tailored, evidence-based treatments to individuals struggling with OCD, anxiety, trauma, and related disorders. Her dedication to ongoing education and client-centered care ensures that her practice remains a valuable resource for those seeking support in their mental health journey.
